Will Math Scores Increase With Use of iPad Technology?

As an educational technology advocate and a 1:1 iPad pilot project leader, I cannot confirm whether a 20% jump in math scores can be expected in all scenarios, but I do know that engagement and understanding have increased in my own classroom. This past year, our EQAO provincial testing results were highest in our school board for both the Applied and Academic grade 9 math courses. All of our grade 9 math students used iPads in a paperless math classroom using a TIPS three part lesson delivery style.
